Vinification: Made from Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes from vines over 70 years old. Each grape variety is harvested separately, destemmed, crushed, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats and small marble lagares with controlled temperatures, pressed, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats.
Internship: The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, during which time only one racking took place and immediately after the malolactic process, the final blend was formed. Bottling was followed by at least another 8 months in the bottle
Flavour: The nose shows great elegance, thanks to the marriage of exceptional wood and ripe fruit - red berries, raspberries, jams and floral aromas
Palate: In the mouth, it has a smooth and deep attack, enveloping you with all its unctuous and harmonious presence, with a persistent finish and a high retro nose
End of race: You can feel the robust but soft tannins and the red fruits with great balance and complexity
Harmonisation: Perfect for celebrating life. This wine goes well with game, red meats and spicy roasts
