Object<\/h4><p>1.1 These General Conditions, updated in January 2018, are intended to regulate the terms and conditions of online sales by Monte da Aferrada, with its head office at Largo Dr Antonio Alves da Costa 28 6050-047 Alpalh\u00e3o, under the single registration and legal person identification number 516 363 581, hereinafter referred to as Monte da Aferrada.<\/p><p>1.2 The purchase of any product through the Monte da Aferrada online shop implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.<\/p><p>1.3 Any and all alcoholic beverages available for sale in the Monte da Aferrada online shop may only be purchased by persons over the age of 18 (Decree-Law no. 106\/2015).<\/p><h4>2. Product, Price and Content Information<\/h4><p>2.1 Monte da Aferrada reserves the right to modify, without prior notice and at any time, the information and commercial offer presented in the online shop regarding: products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions and services.<\/p><p>2.2 The images illustrating each product at Monte da Aferrada may differ from the product subsequently delivered, and are also subject to stock shortages.<\/p><p>2.3 Under Portuguese law, all prices quoted at Monte da Aferrada include the respective VAT rates in force, unless otherwise stated.<\/p><p>2.4 Promotions publicised in the online shop may not be applicable to Monte da Aferrada's physical shops.<\/p><h4>3. Payment<\/h4><p>3.1 All purchases made in the Monte da Aferrada online shop imply immediate payment.<\/p><p>3.2 Payments are received in euros.<\/p><p>3.3 In the Monte da Aferrada online shop, payments are accepted via Multibanco, MBWAY, Credit Card and Paypal, debit and other electronic means available at the checkout. Cheques are not accepted.<\/p><p>3.4 After payment, a proof of purchase document (receipt or simplified invoice) will be issued, which can be personalised with the customer's tax details.<\/p><h4>4. Delivery service<\/h4><p>4.1 For all purchases made in the Monte da Aferrada online shop, the customer may request delivery in accordance with the Monte da Aferrada Delivery Policy.\u00a0<\/p><p>4.2 Monte da Aferrada does not deliver on weekends or public holidays, or on 26 December and 2 January.<\/p><p>4.3 All deliveries will be made by the distribution logistics partners during their respective business hours.<\/p><p>4.4 Delivery costs for different regions are specified in the Delivery Policy section of our website.<\/p><h4>5. Returns<\/h4><p>5.1 Monte da Aferrada recognises the right to terminate contracts concluded under Decree-Law 143\/2001 and Decree-Law 82\/2008 of 20\/05 (distance selling), in which case the consumer has 14 days to do so.<\/p><p>5.2 To request an exchange or return of purchases made in Monte da Aferrada's online shop, the customer should send an email to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@montedaaferrada.pt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">info@montedaaferrada.pt<\/a>\u00a0and follow the instructions provided. The product must be returned in its original packaging, with all accessories or promotional offers included, accompanied by proof of purchase or invoice.<\/p><p>5.3 Monte da Aferrada assumes responsibility for defects in the origin or raw materials of the product purchased and, if this is confirmed by Monte da Aferrada's specialised team, the product will be exchanged or returned at no cost to the customer.<\/p><p>5.4 Monte da Aferrada is not responsible for deficiencies arising from incorrect use, negligence, poor storage conditions or causes of force majeure.<\/p><h4>6. Applicable Law<\/h4><p>6.1 All purchases made in the Monte da Aferrada online shop are subject to Portuguese law.
